All right! Sorry this blog post's gone up so late, I was wracking my brain over what the heck I'm doing with this club, haha. I hope you guys aren't hating me yet for months of inactivity at a time D: But okay! What we have planned for you today is a community project I thought might be fun to try, along with the signup sheet for another art exchange! We'll get the signups out of the way first, since it'll be short.

You will have until the 1st of September to finish, so please make sure you will have enough time before signing up for the exchange! Remember not to share with anyone who you're assigned to, nor should you post your art anywhere until the end of the Exchange. And now for our project! I thought hard about how we can put together all our talents, not only art but also writing and cosplay and everything. So I was thinking... illustrated songfic? Something with a lot of different characters and a lot of different interpretations, the fitting song of Dear Prince was what came to mind.

For this project, each participant will choose one stanza, labeled according to the lyrics below, in which they will draw a picture/multiple pictures, write a short ficlet, work out a cosplay scene, what have you, that fits the lines in the stanza they have chosen. Any of the characters can be included in what is basically a free-for-all expression of your thoughts so long as it fits the theme. Because there are 15 stanzas and I don't know how many of you will be interested in this, multiple people can do the same stanza, but to prevent unbalanced stanzas, we'll also have a sign up list for this so not everyone's doing the same thing with a bunch of gaps everywhere. You're also free to take up multiple stanzas provided you finish at least one before taking up another. And don't worry, they don't have to connect with one another!

As for a contest, I'm still trying to think of non-generic themes to keep things interesting, haha. I'll get back to you on that. As well as trying to secure some points for prizes, I guess, since I'm notorious for being so late on art request prizes (they're in my notes! I haven't forgotten!!)
